Sandeep Jain (sjain) > This is just in front of the Centraal railway station in Amsterdam city. We conveniently put our luggage in lockers at the railway station (I think rate was 5 euros/day).

Sandeep Jain (sjain) > Getting a bit further away from the station....the famous red light area is to our left (Well you cant see it here ;))

Sandeep Jain (sjain) > The famous Sex Museum. This is about 5min walk from railway station.

Sandeep Jain (sjain) > This is once again the view on the street while walking away from railway station. The time would have been around 11 in the morning and due to Christmas holiday (most of the shops being closed), you dont see many people on the street.

Sandeep Jain (sjain) > Its kind of a big street intersection; it was here that an open-air concert took place on new year's eve.

Sandeep Jain (sjain) > This is the view on the right of the square.....I think this was the first and the last horse-driven carriage we saw in the city!

Sandeep Jain (sjain) > This is the view on the left of the intersection...I dont remember whats this statue here for...

Sandeep Jain (sjain) > This is one of the many canals in the city....I really liked the city with its interesting and beautiful architecture...a kind of modern place in bucolic setting!
